W.I.W.T 1.0.4 — Refining the Hybrid Work Log

Over the past few weeks we have received thoughtful feedback from users, both through App Store reviews and direct messages. To everyone who has downloaded the app, left a rating, or taken the time to reach out, thank you. Your input genuinely shapes the direction of the product.

At Five Cups Tech, we build with one guiding principle in mind: simple is the feature. Version 1.0.4 focuses on refinement rather than expansion. The goal was not to add complexity, but to make the experience clearer and more intentional.

This update includes a number of improvements shaped by how people are using the app.

The Settings area has been restructured so that targets and financial year options are easier to understand. The Delete All function has been moved safely into Settings where it belongs, away from everyday actions. Small structural changes like this make the app feel calmer and more deliberate.

The calendar view now includes subtle dots to show logged days across the month, providing a quick visual reference of hybrid work patterns without adding clutter. The date picker behaviour has also been refined for smoother interaction.

An About screen has been added to explain the thinking behind the app and reinforce its core principles.

W.I.W.T remains what it was designed to be: a private hybrid work log. There are no accounts, no cloud storage, and no background syncing. Everything stays on your device. You can log office, work from home, leave and public holidays in seconds, and export your records when needed for personal tracking, HR conversations, or your accountant.

The focus of 1.0.4 was not to add more. It was to make what is already there better.

As always, we welcome feedback. The app will continue to evolve in small, thoughtful steps.
